This collection relates to John Croyston and contains scripts, plays, drafts, correspondence, and research relating to his poetry and work as a radio and drama producer
1960 - 1997
John Croyston worked for several years as a teacher before going on to work at the ABC. From 1958 to 1964 Croyston was a radio producer with the Drama and Features Department, writing and producing many features, as well as producing drama. He co-produced The Poet's Tongue on ABC Radio National for ten years and wrote for the weekly arts programme Quality Street. His poetry was published in Australia's major literary journals including Meanjin, Overland, Quadrant and Southerly.
